Error “Could not connect” while opening Web Console

Lepide Support -

Cause

The browser is not able to establish a connection with the Web Console Server.

Solution 1

Please make sure that LepideAuditor Suite (Web Console) is properly installed and running.

Solution 2

Please make sure that the computer running LepideAuditor Suite Web Console is turned on and available on the network.

Solution 3

Please make sure that the port of Web Console is open and is only available for the Web Console. Moreover, please check the settings of antivirus, firewall or other security software to allow the connection at the designated port.

Solution 4

Add the installation folder of both LepideAuditor Suite and LepideAuditor Suite Web Console in the exception list of antivirus, firewall or other security software.

The default directory to install LepideAuditor Suite is %ProgramFiles%\LepideAuditor Suite for 32-bit Windows OS and %ProgramFiles(x86)%\LepideAuditor Suite for 64-bit Windows OS. The default directory to install LepideAuditor Suite Web Console is %SystemDrive%\LepideAuditorSuiteWebConsole.
